The Royal Malaysian Navy held an open day at their base in Lumut this weekend and the Jom Heboh carnival was held there too.. I wasn't really interested with the carnival.. it's such a hassle to brave the crowd with two kids tagging along.. so we just went to the navy part where a few helicopters and about 12 navy ships are on display and opened to public.. there were boat rides, train rides, navy coming down with parachutes, big motorcycles show and jet ski show all to the excitement of the kids.. the helicopters are constantly flying around the jetty and imagine Imtiaz shouting at it everytime it flew above us..
We arrived there around 10am, had brunch on KD Mutiara, served by on board chefs, take the train ride around the jetty and went home by 12pm. Imtiaz wanted to go on the helicopter, but it was not allowed..

Boarding Windy II

Windy II- currently lowered its anchor at UniKL MIMET to undergo refurbishment of the internal area of the boat. Owned by a British gentleman who is currently travelling with his Brits, Canadian friends and a Korean chef.. We got to aboard the boat for a tour (Imtiaz was very excited that he observed every little detail on the boat) the internal area was torn down to make way for the renovations..

Aqmar Danial, Mak Su, Tok and Tok Abah birthday party

Mak Su, Tok and Tok Abah are all born in January and since Danial's birthday is in February it was held together at Tok Abah's house. Many of Danial's friends came and Tok Teh and family came too.
